Winchester's Latham is Rookie Driver of the Year

One of Adams County's own, 21-year old Nick Latham of Winchester, was honored last weekend by King's Florence Speedway. In ceremonies held at the Holiday Inn Airport in Erlanger, Ky., Latham was named the 2012 Late Model Rookie Driver of the Year.

Latham, pictured above with his crew chief Kenny Spencer, has been racing at the speedway for a year and a half and his #31 car is sponsored by Showcase Cattle of Cherry Fork, Justin Ross Show Sheep of West Union, and Carpet Outlet of Winchester.
