The board approved the CEC Agreement to determine the cost of a proposed walkway that would run between the West Union High School and the elementary buildings. It would be available to students, staff and the public and would also allow students involved in extra-curricular activities and mentoring programs to move from one building to another more easily.

The walk will run from the south end of the elementary parking lot to the north end of the high school parking lot. It also will anwer safety concerns about moving students from one building to another in the event of an emergency. Architects for Civil Environmental Consultants (CTC) will determine the costs.
