The Adams County Manor in West Union hosted its annual Trick or Treat night on Thursday, Oct. 29.
The young people who participate in the fun are the children and grandchildren of the manor’s residents and employees.
The popular family-oriented event bridges generations as costumed children go from room to room, bags in hand, collecting treats from the manor’s residents.
The candy was supplied by the manor’s Activities Director, Anita Duncan, and the childrens’ bags were donated by Prather’s IGA in West Union.
This yearly tradition began more than a decade ago and grows more popular every year.. “The residents really enjoy seeing the children and passing out candy,” said Dunkin, “It gives the people here something to look forward to every year.”
Following the giving of treats everyone assembled in the main dining hall for refreshments, activities, and contests.
