On Monday, Nov. 23, several students from the Ohio Valley Career and Technical Center were treated to a trip and tour of the Lincoln College of Technology (Lincoln Tech) in Indianapolis, Ind. Seniors from Automotive Mechanics, Ag and Industrial Mechanics, and Precision Machining, and juniors from Engineering Technology were bussed to the main campus to tour the five two-year programs offered at the Indiana location.

Dustin Whitman, Regional Director of Admissions, led the tours through Automotive Technology, CNC Machining and Manufacturing Technology, Diesel Mechanics, Collision Repair, and their newest program, Electronics Systems Technology. These two-year programs offer our students an opportunity to see the labs and equipment that the students would have access to if they attended the college.

Several CTC seniors have already applied for admission to Lincoln Tech and one senior has received a full scholarship for the program of his choice for next fall. In all, the students returned with a better view of college life, financial aid, housing, and the opportunities that await for them after graduation.

For any questions about the CTC or their programs, please feel free to contact the school at 937-544-2336.
