The Peebles Area Business Association recently announced the winners in their annual Lighting and Decorating Contest. The judging took place on Wednesday, Dec. 16 when the village was described as a “lighting wonderland.”

The judging was not an easy task but the results are as follows:

Residential: First Place-Josh and Misty Arey (High Street), Second Place- John Tolle (Simmons Avenue), and Third Place- Howard McCoy (Third Street).

Business: First Place- Linda Gale Beauty Salon, Second Place- Hometown Pizza, and Third Place- Greene Beanery.

Honorable Mention: Pete Puckett, Gary Gardner, Mike Sowards, Terry Arnold, Jason Gilpin, Helen McCoy and Kathy Baker, and Audrey Brossenber.

The Business Association thanks everyone who decorated their home or business for Christmas 2015, making a drive through the village an amazing holiday sight.
