The North Adams High School Mock Trial participated in district competition on Friday, Jan. 10 in Batavia. The team has 10 members this year and is divided into defense and prosecution sides.

Each side competes against an opposing school. The defense team lost to Walnut Hills while the prosecution defeated Batavia. Prosecution team member Kirsten Kennedy received the Best Witness Award.

The team’s teaching adviser was Mr. Darryl Porter and they had Mr. Tyler Cantrell of Young and Caldwell, LLC as their legal adviser.
