PLEASANT TOWNSHIP — A Winchester man died in a two-vehicle crash early Friday morning at the intersection of U.S. 68 and State Route 125.

Tyler Faul, 21, of Winchester, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Brown County Coroner’s Office, according to the Georgetown Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

He was the front-seat passenger in a 1997 Ford Taurus being driven by Travis Faul, 18, of Winchester, the Post stated.

According to the OSHP, Travis Faul was traveling northbound on U.S. 68. Brian Yoder, 20, of Georgetown, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado southbound on U.S. 68. Travis Faul turned left onto State Route 125 and was struck by Yoder.

Travis Faul was flown by medical helicopter to University Hospital medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. A 17-year-old rear-seat passenger in the Taurus sustained life-threatening injuries as was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

All occupants, with the exception of the 17-year-old, were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash, according to the OSHP.

The crash is still under investigation.
