Manchester Elementary students have the opportunity to be awarded golden tickets from their teachers for displaying the attributes of PRIDE (Positive Attitude, Respect, Integrity, Dedication, and Excellence) at MES. Once awarded a golden ticket, students place them in a bin in the office where two names are drawn weekly in which students earn a t-shirt.
Whether it be academics or displaying positive aspects of being respectful, students are not overlooked for their positive work ethic and efforts.
The Sept. 25 Golden Ticket Award Winners were second grader Austin Jones and third grader Chase Armstrong. The two were awarded their golden tickets by Manchester Elementary principal Nick Roberts.
