The bridge on state Route 125 near Randall’s Run Road is expected to soon be open to traffic. The Ohio Department of Transportation said that they are planning to have the bridge open on Friday, Sept. 5.

“They’re pouring the deck now,” Kathleen Fuller, Pyblic Information Officer for ODOT District 9 said. “Certain things have to be finished before the bridge can be opened to traffic. The deck, obviously, has to be done, but the guard rails have to be completed too.”

ODOT expects to open the bridge once the deck and guard rails are complete. The stripping of the road and sealing and painting of the steel beams in the bridge can be worked on while the bridge is open to traffic.
