Continuing with the theme that high school basketball has become a year-round sport, the varsity and JV girls basketball squads from North Adams High School participated in a women’s basketball team camp at Ohio State University on June 27 and 28.

The Lady Devils sent the two squads to Columbus for two days and each team got to play four games against some tough competition, with the varsity going 1-3 and the JV splitting even at 2-2.

“We had a good time and played some really good teams,” said Lady Devils varsity coach Rob Davis. “We only went 1-3 but it was a good experience for all of our JV and varsity kids.”

In total, 22 girls from the North Adams High School girls program traveled to Columbus for the two-day camp.
