Archbishop visits Adams County

The Most Reverend Dennis M. Schnurr, Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati visited Adams County on Friday, Sept. 5 to hold a special mass on a local farm.Congregants from parishes in neighboring counties, including St. Michael in Ripley and St. George in Georgetown, attended the service at the farm of a parishioner from Holy Trinity in West Union. Archbishop Schnurr was joined by priests from the Saint Martin Deanery, including Father Theodore Kosse and Father Bedel, former and current priests of Holy Trinity Church.


Young’s 5 TD’s lead Hounds to victory

After a very long bus ride, the Manchester Greyhound varsity football squad made it a worthwhile trip, improving their record to 2-1 on the season with a 52-42 win over the host Eminence Warriors. Eminence is nearly three hours from Manchester and the Hounds broke up the trip with a stop on the way for a walk through on the turf of Schueler Stadium at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, then finished the trek down I-71 to Eminence, Ky. for the Friday night affair.
