People’s Defender
The Southeast District Baseball Coaches Association recently released its honorees for their 2023 Baseball All-District Teams. The only Adams County players to receive All-District recognition were in Division III, three from Peebles High School and one from North Adams.
Peebles was the only county baseball squad to end the 2023 season with a winning record and they placed three players on the All-District Team, all seniors, Zane Porter, Cory Reed and Ethan Beekman. Porter was named First Team West All-District, while Reed and Beekman both were named Special Mention West.
North Adams junior Caleb Rothwell was the fourth countian to earn All-District honors as he was named First Team West All-District.
The Adams County schools are all in the West section of the Southeast District and following are the entire West All-District selections as chosen by the coaches.
